I'm over here on 63 enjoying the grain hauler mobile truck show. JaLu out of Fisher, Arkansas has several good looking outfits.

 

Yea they do. They have a yellow flat top I like where you headed today

 

I gotta admit I feel silly. After all these years, I've been doing inspections wrong. Apparently its:

Back under trailer. Hook up lines. Roll up landing gear. Walk to the back and see if doors are closed.

Then cross your fingers and hope the lights work, brakes are adjusted, tires are inflated. Elogs strike again!

 

Jack legs reversed me, so I am at Jonesboro exit 36 then headed to the metropolis of Walnut Ridge. Hope traffic is light in Walnut Ridge.

 

Man that thing is TOUGH!

 

In Black River Falls for a shower. Not sure I'm liking this 14 hour rule much anymore. Downtown Chicago sure looks good at 4:30 am flying by at 55mph.

Making good time so far. Starting to feel the stress of the elog though. Drove 7 straight hours yesterday to make my load appointment.

I might have been a bit hasty in concluding it's a universally good thing. First things first though, that 14 hour rule needs to go.
