Oh swr dont mean squat if you have high impedences and the ant is not resonate..
Out of all the antenna mesaurements swr is the least important...
    K0bg.com or is it kobg.com

Will look into it for sure. And most of our trucks are day cabs. Only reason we are running whips is because while logging other antennas tend to get broken

Ill be looking into the coil adjustment more. However we can't run hats as they will most likely get broken. We have heavy equipment moving logs around our cabs daily so I will be reading more for info on how to reduce impedance and look into other mounting areas. Flimsy is a must for our antennas however. Thanks for the great advice

If you think you need to firm up the flimsy a lil..Head to a hardware store and look for as small as you can find flexable pvc water pipe..Slide it down over and if still to big shoot a lil of that spray insulation(can stuff)down in it to keep it tight..Only need about a 3 or 4 ft length..Did basically same thing on my 7ft skip shooter on my previous cascadia.. 20171022_145010.jpg
