Reg trailer empty reitenour says it weighs 8-9000 (I don't rightly remember), which seems accurate, stepdeck... Blech not a fan, the ride is nice and the height is mostly nice, but why add weight and have to dick around with the wheel well no strap/chaining options when an open flat fixes that?

 

And think closer to 46500 max haul with an all aluminum 48 step after all gear

 

They seem to have lots of issues with there in house detroits. If getting cat you should be fine but it's a huge up charge.

 

You’ll be good to go with factory reman Detroit. I just ordered a new loaded out 389 with 565/2050 x15 and they wanted 35k up charge for a cat,I was like there’s no way.Hope I don’t regret the decision on the emissions cummins. I didn’t by from fitz either cause they wanted 12k more for same truck I ordered out of Tulsa.

 

Please stay away from the Detroit from fritz I have owned two. first one was a fritz reman the second was Clark reman both had blown head gaskets first at 16k second at 30k both needed a inframe at 60K I live by toledo oh and park at a shop that does fitz warranty work and I'm amazed at the amount of warranty work they do for fitz and most need inframes. If there any good to say they stand up with the warranty you will pay nothing and they overnight parts to the shops. Just remember they are the warranty supplier if they fail kiss that warranty good by. If I did this again would get another one from them it would be with the N14. they do good work building the truck. just not the reman Detroit
