Not surprising... As I was told by a 26 year veteran of Walmart that a major investor in Walmart told Walmart to start cutting back..

 

My friend works for Schneider. They just bought out Gates. He is driving their truck now. I wonder what happens to their drivers?

 

Monroe only had a few guys left I think.

Pretty sure Olney is going to be rolled in St James or Hoptown but they are waiting to decide what to do there because the contract carrier was still not up to contract level. Not sure they are ever going to get there.

Couple of the WPMs may get rolled up too. Hardly anything coming out of 6022 lately.

 

6022 lost about 30% of their drivers. Are they still doing dot.com? Or is all that being moved more towards Plainfield?

 

I wondered about 6022. Used to go in there and get an upper Wisconsin run and there went my day. All miles and no activity hurts the paycheck.

 

Imagine being one of these new rooks at 38 cpm!

 

I think all the .com stuff is moved. Hell their load count the other day was like 20(?).

Rumor has it (yeah rumor so not fact) those guys may get rolled to 6017 or 7055.

Wonder how the hiring event is going today in Greenwood.
