Can we have a stickied New CDL driver insurance thread? Maybe someone to post quotes and brokers they are dealing with? Progressive seems to have put a hold on taking new policies so finding a good broker and getting a policy is getting harder. Have you recently had good experience with one and willing to post about the term and rates?

You mean a new O/O section for insurance? If so then yes I agree. A dedicated section would be good. I don't think many new CDL holders are looking for insurance unless they're becoming an O/O right out of CDL school.
Timmy Fran Thanks this. -

The guy got caught running dope in it at the Border) and buying a new 53 ft Reitnouer drop deck for $60k Progressive quoted $13000 for the year for everything with $1k deductibles.RussianBearTruckeR, ovosquad, 77fib77 and 1 other person Thank this. -

I used Thomas Wilson Group out of Brentwood, TN. They insured me as a new entrant, reefer, truck and trailer. They aren’t an insurance company. They are a broker and shop around for you. I’ve been pleased with them.

I used Alex Rue (Alex Rue Insurance Agency, Inc. – 916-572-9815)
It wasn't cheap but when everyone said no, they said yes and were able to do it ! -
