We are both governed at 62. I usually brake and let them pass for the 4-wheelers that always stack up behind Prime trying to pass me at 1.5 mph.

The traffic that stacks up behind those slow, poorly driven trucks adds up to long delays at traffic lights, and any other place where traffic slows.
These Prime guys seldom drive at the speed limit on the 2 lanes because they are scared of anything off of the interstates.
They should be the ones getting tickets for obstructing traffic.

Is that not the funniest thing ever?

I mean you're looking at them while a short bus full of kindergartners passes both trucks!

Prime will usually do that if your speed keeps varying and knocking them off cruise or causing their fancy equipment to put on brakes throwing them into the steering column as it slows them down further to maintain a safe following distance.

I don’t use cruise control at all and regularly got 8.5-9mpg by just getting up to cruising speed and then just barely applying the throttle enough to maintain the speed, or even letting myself lose some speed uphill and getting back up to speed going downhill. I also get a lot less tired this way because I’m always looking at that fuel mileage gauge and keeping active driving. Getting the best mileage at my company right now running heavy through mountains at gross. Still average 7.2-3 hauling flatbed freight.
