I notice alot of the companies I looked at were no pets allow. If you plan on being out otr and living in the truck for a year do you really need to tell them if you have a pet or not?

Some drivers don't mention having a pet.
Plenty of companies allow pets though, so I'd look for companies that have a pet policy.
Where is your location? We can give you the names of a few companies that allow pets. -
Yes. Some places you pick up and deliver to don't allow pets. Tanker companies usually don't allow pets. Some some comapnies welcome your pets. If you have one when your are not supposed to you could easily get fired.

Hey @Chinatown
So I convince my wife to do otr teams with me(after watching some videos and reading info on here)
The plan is to have me start off first for 3 months.(Enoguh to pay for her to go to a school and give our apartment 2 month notice and sell our car) She will be in cdl school while this is happening and then have her join teams with me. The only issues is having a dog haha. I live in CT but we will not have a apartment after I start so we can go where ever the money is. we have been looking into oil field and other high paying jobs(were fine with doing crap work for the next year or two then go local) .Chinatown Thanks this. -

You can take the pet with most companies. How large is it? Some companies have weight limits on dogs because they don't want a large dog damaging the inside of the truck.
Since you plan to get rid of the apartment and live in the truck, consider changing your domicile to a state that has no personal income taxes. Two favorites are Texas and Nevada. -
Mr. Furry Paws says if you don't see the cat, does the cat really exist?
