There are some expedite load boards that are likely better for that (Google is your friend :biggrin_25525:)

Having much experience with a broker, this is true. It can help you get your info to a broker you havent used and from there get calls and loads. When you make your first calls, try to have all your info for them. Makes it easy for everyone and makes you appear to be the professional that you are. From there keep in touch when you need freight. Often if you let the broker know ahead of time that you will need freight into or out of a certain location they'll try to help you. It's all about building relationships.

well you neg your own rate. I have been sucessfull at moving loads and have gotten a few really good contacts out of it. I got paid pretty quick within a week with the loads that i have gotten. the guy i talked to said they have over 2000 direct customers and then i also have access to look at brokered loads in a seperate area. as far as i am concerened we all are competing for loads but i am willing to bet my competion is far less than when i was on get loaded.

I just looked over the RTF site. Was signing up then they required a 3 month minimum... don't like to be held hostage like that.

Where do you look for loads requiring teams ??? I thought teams were still running nice miles and the rates were better but ITS, for example, doesn't have a way of segregating loads requiring teams ???

Can't teams take any load a solo can? Why would you need a separate area?

I would think a soloist would have to pay more attention to the delivery times. A team, not so much.
