There's no blame to absorb if a professional driver acts professionally.

I get that.. I drive in and out of ATL weekly so I deal with the last minute lane changes often, and definitely slow down and let them "win".

The question is when does one become a professional? After CDL school? 1 year exp?million safe miles?

Truck is always at fault. Supposed to be a professional, therefore supposed to know better, and try to avoid an accident at all costs.

The woman in car doesn't know any better, she is busy texting or updating her FB status.

As professional drivers we must protect the morons out there. No it's not right, fair, or even appreciated by the masses. But if you don't and decide to prove a point you will end up in court losing time, money, and maybe even your livelihood because of some lawyer (the hammer) with multiple billboards licking his chops waiting to nail that big bad nasty truck.

Was thinking about how happy her attorney will be with that footage at the end where he mentions his camera.

Let's say no medical bills involved in this situation.

What's the dollar amount for fixing that truck traveling down those steel barrier cables?
    How long is it down?

That ladies car needs new everything almost.

How could you even walk in and look at your boss after that?

    Coover Thanks this.

It seems to me like some folks have forgotten that dash cams are mounted at the windshield and generally at the top and near center of it.
I for one do not drive with my head at top center of the windshield therefore my view of the road is not exactly the same as the view from my dash cam.
