You'll still need statements from them. Preferably, while it is fresh on their minds.

Otherwise, it will be your word against the Trooper. Most likely these people will not show up in court, without being ordered.

    Hence the lawyer recommendation.

You can't control what has already happened. But you can influence the outcome.

guess i should have paid the 300 bucks to get the truck towed myself and then found me a way home.

that dump of a motel i was in didnt really have much heat so i walked to another one. then the next night the power went for a couple of hours. the life of a truck driver. i am home now and might not ever leave, just glad whoever hit me barely glazed me and wasnt hurt, guess it could have been worse.

At the moment, you are in CYA mode.

You know they've been written. It's a matter of protecting yourself.

If the violations have been placed on you. You'll get something in the mail. Unless you received a copy from the Trooper.

yeah the owner of the company said he would fly up and pick us up in his plane he had bought and rebuilt, told him i would pass. he should have had the truck towed, you should see the wore out truck and tarps and trailer and bald tires. i always kept me some vienna sausages and sardines so when the scalehouse shut the truck down
