One hand on wheel

Sorry for the double post. My connection is bad sometimes.

 

I turn 77 in August. They pulled my CDL two years ago because of night vision problems. (I am actually a bit thankful they grounded me) I started illegal when I was eighteen driving an 5 X 4 that I had no idea how to shift. An old Reo just before it became Diamond Reo. Not many will remember those names.

 

Really easy to drive a rig with one hand if have turning knob (suicide knob). I have a 2015 Kenworth T680. Just make sure you don't get caught by the police cruising by your rig. I've been driving one hand for 12 years. And I'm still doing it. It should be legal and might be illegal to drive with one hand on the steering wheel. Be careful if you are driving for a company because they have camera in the cab where the driver is.
