It sounds like the fuel pump is toast, they are pretty common to go out on these. The fuel pump is located towards the back of the compartment behind the fuel filter, just follow the fuel line that way till you find the round or square box the line runs into and has 2 wires running off it. for about 5 seconds before the APU starts to crank you should be able to hear it make a sort of clicking sound if the pump is trying to work at all.

Do you hear the fuel pump running?

It's a clicking noise kicking in about 3-5 seconds before it starts to crank.

Changing filters is a good idea. Remember there are two of them. The big one at the left top corner. The second is a in line filter. You have to remove the top lid of the housing. It's down in the hole behind the air filter.

Under NO circumstances use the fuel from the old filter, get fresh fuel and prefilled to 3/4. You have to tip the filter to get it in and will spill if entirely filled.

    A pain to prime x2.

I once ran a jump wire from the battery to the fuel pump and I could run the pump when I needed it for priming.

If you're not sure about the fuel pump supplying fuel at all, crack the inlet fuel line loose at the main filter.

Next step prime at the inlet of the injection pump.

Next prime the return line at the injection pump.

Have a wrench ready to prime the injector lines at the injectors while engine is cranking.

Be careful now. It's high pressure. It may squirt, which is good. Put a rag over the fuel lines, wear gloves and glasses.

I'm getting alt code after I replaced a broken belt, can the broken belt damaged the alternator? The APU runs from 4 to 5 minutes and then shuts down with the code "alt"

Make sure the belt is tight, and check all connections on back of alt. Especially the two wire plug. The alt did spin freely with belt off?

I had the alternator replaced with the belt, ran fine. The next day it started again with the alt light and red triangle. So I attempted to restart the tripak and now I get a yellow triangle and tripak doesn't start. I checked fuses, connections, oil level. Everything is ok. I read about a reset button but i can't fine it. Please if anyone is able to help me out.

I'm not aware of any reset button, and I've worked on a few of these. Does the Tripak crank at all, or is there just no response, whatsoever?
Do you have a laptop with you?

The original TriPac had a reset button on the main control panel, the newer Evolution model does not. It resets by turning it completely off and back on..Make sure the engine shut off switch in the engine compartment is on, and if you have an Evolution with a DPF be sure the regen switch is not down in the off position.

What does it mean if it will not lock in on a mode? I select A/C and it will flash then the all the lights flash and starts over. It never signals the motor is going to start and the blower nevers blows. This happens on all 3 modes.

If it is not giving you a fault code then I would check the engine shut off switch in the engine compartment and make sure it is in the on position, or maybe even toggle it back and forth to be sure. If you have a TriPac with a DPF check and make sure that the regen switch didn't get bumped down into the off position, and that will also keep the unit from starting.
If you have not done so already push the left knob in to shut the unit down completely, and then push it in again to restart it. In the Evolution model that will sometimes reset the system and clear a problem.
