So now, on Monday, the OP posts in a new post he is not getting paid, and reporting this company as a bad company. I quit responding to his posts, as most did. But now the roosters have come home to nest.

 

I don't think he's really a driver. Too many contradictory posts, too many cases of bad informstion, too many posts where he just parrots information given by other drivers.
I think he's a poser, and not a very good one at that.

The difference on W2 and 1099. Employer keep some of your $ than pay your taxes and its no worry's on April 15. 1099 you have to run it as a business. Save some % to pay it little later. Disadvantage 7.5% on SS and Medicare tax. Adventages right off for Per Deam around $60 avery day when you're out of town. So $60 a day for 10 days $600 in some cases it will outset most of the taxes. But make shure you know your tax bracket your income and deductions

 

The OP is complaining in the Bad Trucking Forum that this company is not paying him for his driving. His original post is a few months old...so he found out that 1099 pay vs. w-2 pay is moot, if there is no pay at all.

 

Take it to court.. some states $5k Max some over 7.5k. if that company steal alive they have no excuse not to pay plus out off work time. You can track any company owner on net $30

 

LOL! That's what I'm thinking. Got into trucking - lost my wife, kids, family and friends. Tried to be gay but couldn't hold my mouth just right. Wanted to be black but couldn't dance. Tried suicide but the gun mis-fired and I vomited up all of the pills. I made $1099 last year working at the men's homeless shelter. When I found out Hillary lost the election I ran in front of a speeding bus but it turned off at the ramp early....can't catch a break anywhere - anytime!
