    Trucks packed.

Just need to bump under the wagon in the morning.

Still waiting on Tulsa to get me something so I'll wake up around 0700.

Made Sault Ste Marie as planned. The turd handled the smaller hills okay, but when it gets shamed by a 14 year old 13 litre CAT pulling heavier, it makes me think something might be wrong with the motor.

Was listening pretty closely the last couple hours and it sounds like something with the valves is off when shifting. Almost like the "Jakes" are opening up despite the switch being off.

And the clutch is going to burn itself out of it spends more time in stop and go traffic. It ground the range drop three times today.

What is absolutely blowing my mind is that all week I've been getting worse fuel economy than my truck pulling similar weights. Something has to be wrong. 90k+ I could see this thing doing worse, but right in the sweet spot on the interstate?

Wait until it throws a fault code and stops in the middle of a u-turn on a busy highway. That’s what scares me most about automatics.

Biggest thing that scared me about the Paccar Auto/DT12... they both love to kick into neutral on a downhill to save 0.000000005 gallons of fuel.

    #### that noise.

    Right, there is that too.

Thankfully there are no hills where I run to every day.

Bloody hell--that's what it's doing? No wonder the dang jakes take a year and a half to kick in!!

Whatever you might say about Volvo, they know how to build an automatic. This Pete is making me wish I had my old truck back even if it did break down every five minutes.
