It’s been almost 50 years since cows were milked in that barn. We keep it whitewashed as it seems to keep ringworm out better

 

I saw an MVT truck with its tandems in the ditch in Tennessee on I40 at mm 42. I figured he had tried to back up after missing his exit and got stuck. Nope, he got rearended by a Jeep and his trailer is on the ground, I don't know where his wheels are. I bet the Jeep occupants didn't make it.

 

Didn't have to bother with the man...I was saying thanks to them for putting 95 North and South down to one lane on a Thursday night in the summer. Around here they want the vacationers to travel in the evening on Thursday (they put ads out) and then do that!! Obviously someone with a college edumacation at work!!!

 

Been told I’m getting routed to Tulsa ASAP.

Aka ole blue is retiring at 450k...

 

VDOT is tough to understand, they have those 3 Tolled HOV Lanes that don’t get used wisely IMO. They seem to be on a Schedule with no regard for existing conditions and then there's the Motoring Public.....is it really necessary to have a 5 to 10 mile backup for a Trooper on the shoulder or Orange Barrels? Seems to happen very consistently in Va

How did you fare with the storms in your area Thursday?

 

We got .75" of rain at the farm. Some areas got more with a lot of wind and some hail. Just 10 miles west of us there was trees down and bins blown over. I seen some pictures up in Canada just northwest of us that didn't fair too well. The ground was white from all the hail. It's to early in the year for us to have these type of storms so I'm kind of worried about what the rest of summer is going to bring.
