You tube has a deal for $40 A month to get TV anywhere with up to 6 people on the account. Only catch is you have to sign in once every 3 months from home. TV lineup looked very good, not 40 crap channels but stuff you watch including ESPN and FS1 and 2. Anyone trying this?

I refuse to pay for TV. I have a built in antenna that I use. Where I'm parked right now I get over 75 channels free.
There are many free TV streaming providers.
If you just get a home TV system like DirecTV then you can stream ESPN or FS1 and 2 free online. Then when you get home you have the same channels ready to go.
I wouldn't pay 40 a month for JUST streaming. For 40 a month you can get a full DirecTV account AND full streaming of all their content online for free.driverdriver and Trucking in Tennessee Thank this. -
I have Dish with just a one package upgrade. $71 a month.

Then you need to look at DirecTv. Their ultimate package for 60 a month is 250 channels. Their upgrade from the bottom tier is 40 like I'd said.

I guess the difference would be, DirecTv would have a minimum contract of probably 2 years at said payment because of the equipment and installation involved at the home location. Internet streaming provider options are month to month, with no commitment

I have DirectTV Now at home using my landline AT&T high speed WiFi and streaming tv sucks.
It buffers and locks up a lot. It’s awful.
I’d hate to think now cellular data could keep up.Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this. -
Well, that's why I asked.tucker Thanks this.

I have PlayStation Vue. Works decent on my laptop, you need a decent WiFi signal.
Other than they keep adding too many crap channels it's sufficient -
It's really not too bad. I have Direct TV Now that I stream with a firestick and a ZTE mobley 4g lte device in the truck. As long as I have more than 5mbps down it works fine. Often my speed is closer to 20. I also use a bootleg iptv service called area51. It's 1500 channels from all over the world for $5.00 a month. Absolutely fantastic for sports.Last edited: Jul 1, 2018

Yes but do you actually pay $40 per month. My experience with cable and satellite TV is they add on equipment rental and extra fees. Often that low rate quoted is for the first year of a contract and they stick it to you the second year
