    Was a portion of check taken for health insurance dental and vision for family or were you single because I have never made less then 400 usd that is also including medical insurance and vision and 401k contribution that are deducted from my checks

    Interesting as Interstate was my second otr job in 92 and that's about what I made back then, lol.

    If I had to drive a truck that slow I would want to be paid hourly.

    I dont see why it makes a difference what a truck is governed at.....unless it's governed at minimum highway speed

    Don't know about otr but 800 usd is what I made as a regional driver on west coast

    Yeah, me too. What difference does it make if you can consistently cover more miles in a given period of time than another guy... when you're being paid by the mile???

    My drivers are averaging 2500-2700 miles per week in a 5 day work week. Most of them go home every weekend.
