Nothing wrong with the stars and bars it's mostly the left wingers that really are wanting to change history and if you look back at history slavery wasn't the only issue and there was involved in that war . and most of the soldiers on the confederate side were not slave owners and was more a matter of state pride .. and actually the economic system that followed slavery was far more profitable and that was the share cropping system anyways .... as far as affirmative action and the integration of the south ... it has came out to a great price on the good people of the state of Ohio costing us at least 6 national championships in college football .. the thing that I never could figure out about the civil war was my great great grandfather was a captain in Shermans army and for the life of me after they burned down Atlanta. ... why in the he'll did you rebuild it

I know I am not a racist. . even if I don't drive a volvo because as far as the somalis (black ) the Russians (white ) and the Arabs ( brown ) I hate them all equally and hope they can find new jobs in the old country ...... on a good note just got my physical and was talking to the nurse and they are being directed to fail anybody that can't understand in ENGLISH how to fill out the paperwork or answer questions ... there will be ways for them to get around this but maybe they will start to enforce this at scales and roadside inspections ..... in spite of Illinois, Minnesota and of course California think it is federal law that in order to have a cdl and drive commercialy in the United States you must be literate and fluent in the English language

 

Cool.....my family has inhabited NC since 1752.....they fought the Brits, Yanks, etc....down to my time in Iraq.
My family owned no slaves and were very avidly anti slavery. We know this thru written family journals and letters discussing this issue of my ancestors as they wore that gray defending our state from what they perceived as a tyrannical federal govt .....not quoting specifically. The hardships indured on the battlefield and also the women left at home....written accounts of Yankee patrols burning barns and outbuildings as they passed.....that to me is more along the lines of terrorism.
The biggest issue here is people refuse to research things for themselves....what was going on behind the scenes....and are spoon-fed a narrative that they swallow on command.
I am a registered independent however lean right on most issues so the alt-right knee jerk reaction was premature and misguided

 

that guy is either from California or the northeast or northwest and if he is not he should consider moving lol .. my 4 great grandfather was a hessian with the British in the revolution and he liked America so much they immigrated here after the war .... the hessian were drafted in to the army for 4 to 6 years depending on how much money you had and the Duke of Hess would rent them out to anyone who would pay .. we learned in history that the hessian were mercinaries but really weren't like soldier of fortune types ... not really sure on the details but he came to NYC in 1790 and walked to Tennessee and lived there for 5 years and then walked to ohio Wich was still a wilderness and married an Ottawa Indian women I guess people did a lot of walking back then lol ..... Tennessee would have been just fine but sure glad he got the he'll out of new York lol
