Since you specifically indicate your paid in usd... Lmao im assuming your from Mexico... So i guess $800 seems like a fortune and 2300 miles seems like a lot of work...

2300 might not be that bad considering they are going home for the weekend (34hr restart most likely). Companies love throwing that home every weekend out there, but it's usually only 34hrs.

34 hr reset on 2300 miles? I do 6 days and reset on day 7. I hit 3500 miles consistantly and forced to do the 34.

I dont see the need for 34 hr reset on 2300 miles. He just sits alot and probably gets 2 34 resets a week inadvertently. Any company only giving a driver 2300 miles week with 62 mph truck... And pay only 800 week... Dont care if a driver geta home or not. It cost them fuel to get them fuel to get them there.

Ain't that the truth. An extra 100-150 miles a day over a week adds up quickly on a paycheck.

Oh I know. I pulled 3700 since monday with 48 minutes left on my 70. But companies throw hometime around attracting people but don't tell them it's only for 34hrs.

I see what your saying 2300 miles wouldnt be so bad if you was doing 450 miles a day 5 days. Only putting 10 hrs in each day got home every night and had friday nighy off saturday and sunday off for 800 a week. Basicaly having a normal life.

I highly doubt thats the case with heartland. And 800 is still a bit low. Company i work for does that with the day cabs they slip seat with Those guys do 12 hr shifts and still earn at least 1200.. And get a full weekend off and are home evey night.

I dont personally like that so i do the longer huals and have perminantly assigned truck that i only drive. Run out my 70 and take it where ever i end up. The other long hualers plan it so the have the weekend off at the terminal and go home and usualy a full weekend but not always (its trucking #### happens). They make around 1200-1500 each week. Since i dont care where i take a 34 some times it 38 hrs. It just depends on what time i shut it down on sunday as i try to be back running by tuesday 5 am. i work weekend because there a slight increase ppm on the weekend. i push 1500-1800 a week and take 2-3 1 week vacations out of the country a year. 2 weeks of paid vacation paid out to the average weekly income.free health insurance and matching 401k. A few other cool perks. Like i can fual where ever i want that takes com data. So i fuel mostly only at loves and save about $100 or so a month of free meals and never pay for refill drinks wich probably saves me anouther $50 or more a month. If i end up some otjer place i can just fual 50 gallons if i need a shower. No need to ask people for a shower credit lol.

Never pay for anyrhing that work related. Free work shirts. Gloves. Nice red wing steel toe boots every year. 5k bonus for signing on. Never had to chase detention pay after 1 hour or down time for repairs pay immediately by the hr to the minute.

They treat there drivers right. And still struggle on keeping drivers in the trucks. So i just dont get how places like hearrland get away with how tjey oay and treat there drivers and have guys thay are so happy they are brafging about there 800 a week... Lmao

OTR should net (not gross) you $1K a week minimum, or it's just not worth it, IMHO. If you aren't getting a good 2500-3000 miles a week, and don't have at least a 65 mph truck (70 mph preferred), and can't get home once a month minimum, you really should be looking for greener pastures.

I stay out five weeks for four days off just for the reason that I only get 34hrs for two weeks out. As for the 2300 miles I have gotten it consistently and I have worked several days except for a few occasions where freight is light going out of state and routine truck maintenance
