That little crap ain't so little when you are the one writing the checks. A good paint job is pushing 30 freaking thousand dollars.

I had one similar to this one happen. Big impact. Still got out and took my pictures. When a Darwin dies, Bleeders feel sorry for them and despite everything you have, they’re still going to somehow, some way, try to award the Darwin family some money. So, you and I had better have everything that we can to protect ourselves.

In the case of this cowpimp, you will have some moronic lawyer tell everyone that the reason this wreck happened was because the trucker had a crack in the windshield.

wore out, MACK E-6, G13Tomcat and 2 others Thank this.

    The correct answer is...

...NO. NO. AND OH "HELL" NO.

ANY contact with a motionless object is by definition an accident. There's ABSOLUTELY NO excuse for hitting another driver's truck when you are attempting to park.

    Either GOAL or GOALATFD.

i was referring to this posting, from another member:
    ( i thought she is a l/o as well??)

if YOU are talking a custom or semi-custom paint job, she and i WERE NOT.

a simple bump as she said, is NO BIG DEAL, obviously a MAJOR scratch OR dent ARE a big deal.

i really wish some here would take the time to read the posts, prior to responding, to get the full thought process of what is being said.

well...lol...i was barely (no pun) sleeping, when my truck got hit. when i first started driving, i was told by at least 2 trainers, NEVER sleep with out your pants on, "in case" you gotta get up fast, cuz NO ONE wants to see your brown skid marks.....:biggrin_25522:

    Trucker61016 and Lepton1 Thank this.

at least too, he got his-self a new windshield. that impact made that crack go all the way to the top.

i feel no sympathy for darwin award winners. in fact, i view it (at times) as thinning of the gene pool.
