Where is everyone #5

It amazes me too!! Especially after watching some guys that unload ships and rail cars do their job!!!

 

Trucks in the shop until Friday. Thinking this might turn into a 4 day weekend

 

Been up against it lately, running fast and idling alot. . Not good

 

Thinking about @wore out on his descent south bound.

 

Sitting here finishing a tall, ice cold, glass of lemonade. I thought about having a beer but all I have is a pint of "Dragon's Milk" by New Holland Brewing. 11% bourbon barrel aged stout. Just not something that appealed after being out in the sun all day. Drank an obscene amount of water today, but still don't think I was keeping up with hydration. Only had to take a leak once. Bad me.. bad...

Things are picking up at work. Construction projects are starting to go into full swing so I've been moving a lot of product out to job sites. Had six stops yesterday within the 300 miles I drove (Yeah, a small number 'o miles compared to those of you who OTR). Had my e-log nanny box screeching at me about "UPCOMING VIOLATION IN 1 HOUR. 12 HOUR WORK DAY LIMIT"

Loved every minute of it. Was away from the yard and all the clown shoe tap dancing that goes on there most days.

 

Dinner at Bob’s across from Eddie’s truckstop in Moses Lake, WA. Delivered insulation in Kent this morning then picked up a metric butt-ton of rocks in Tacoma.

Been totin some rather light loads for weeks. This load of stone has me over gross by 620 lbs. Been a while since I’ve been this heavy, took a few miles in the up-down terrain of Tacoma to re-aclimate myself to making the truck get up and go.

 

Tick tock..... waiting to get unloaded.

At least the guy moving the steel for forging was working lol.

Wife and I were on our motorcycles today, passed this guy on 3rd ave in Huntington. The Justice sign in the background, tells me this pic was taken about a block after we passed him. Huntington is full of bad drugs!!
