Just look at the user name.

“Raamman” is a troll account with only 154 posts since it was created in 2011 and the user doesn’t allow viewing of his profile

several branches of govt are complicit in this vehicular manslaughter taking place on our highways not the least of which being that the cops don't name the drivers and companies in these crashes. Maybe if their names were plastered all over the news every day people would figure it out.

“He said he was recruiting for Quality Logistics while one of the owners of that company, who is a friend, is in India.”
If that’s your job, aren’t u considered a “Hiring Manager”...

Of course, you were right there, watching it happen. It's a wonder the RCMP didn't consult you.

Because they are likely still building the case, and likely haven't completely reconstructed the crash yet. This is going to take years to settle.

It doesn't, but immigrant drivers in Canada don't get enough training and often fast-track their way to a license (by paying off a school that has it's own licensing authority and offers "fast training"). It's a problem with the training/licensing system that, unfortunately, this crash will fix.

Yes, poorly trained drivers being given runs beyond their skill level. Their ethnicity has nothing to do with their ability.

I suspect it's only been within the past 20-30 years.

Where did he say it mattered? Your comment is a fine example of how sensitive and Whitney the world has become. Sooooo sensitive and cry over spilled milk. Makes me want to vomit.

Why not ? The owner didn’t run the stop sign his driver did, what if that was you and you had truck payments etc etc ?

I’d hire competent drivers .. you want to cheat the system pay the price.. yes it’s legal to put a inexperienced in a super b but it’s not right safety wise

There should be an endorsement program for multi-unit combinations besides LCV's. Nobody should be able to just hop into a truck out of school and pull around 137,800 lbs of truck. Hell, in the first year, a driver shouldn't be allowed to haul a trailer bigger than a tandem at 80,000 gross.

But because of the driver shortage and desperation for freight to move, it'll never happen.
