They couldn't sell this truck without making the necessary repairs. They waited for numbnuts to show up and offered the vehicle on a lease purchase deal. Numbnuts signed the contract without looking at the truck. Got the keys and drove off into the sunset. Meanwhile the folks at CDN are happy they got rid of the truck and are no longer responsible for the repairs. Another one bites the dust.
Joining CDN was a mistake.

The truck is half the problem.,,,.
Your attitude is probably the other half of the problem.
You can’t go around referring to everyone you don’t like as a pekkerhead or whatever other names you can come up with.
Let the company handle the issues with “your” truck. You work on the attitude. Your day and health will be much better. -
Absolutely, how can numbnuts develop a working relationship with all the name calling. That definitely is not necessary. I couldn't imagine what happens at the customers business when numbnuts gets upset.

When the Fair Labor Act was enacted, which is the law that established mandatory overtime of more than forty hours of work in a week, the entire transportation industry was exempted. There are fleets that pay overtime, some do it to avoid unionization, or because they have to be more competitive in their local job market. Or it's a private fleet belonging to a company that is outside of the transportation industry.Lab work Thanks this.

I hope the day never comes, that I understand why drivers come on another driver's thread, and just hurls insults and vitriolic criticism. Could the OP use some constructive remarks? Probably so. But he sounds to me, like most of us. He's tired of getting jerked around and treated like he's owned by his employer. That's why guys sign those leases. They're desperate for just a little more control over their own life. We're all to blame. at least a little, for the current, sorry, state of this industry and the labor market as a whole in this country. If you do another lease, do it where you actually get a truck from a separate dealer, and the company you're leasing to isn't involved with the truck, except deducting and making the payment. Good luck with everything.
Numbnuts69 Thanks this.
