Super singles save 400lbs per set of tandem axles.

Strip what you can from the interior. Pull sound deadening. Passenger seat. Carpet or rubber mat. Disk brakes all the way around. Smaller fuel tank maybe? Do they have to be 150?

Heck carbon fiber hood. I bet that would save a lot. Probably real cheap to build it one off. Lol. Call a Nascar team.

Compare weight of tires by brand. Some will be lighter. Same with rims.

You could also watch the movie “the Martian” some interesting ideas there near the end. Hahaha.

Building a kit, go with Detroit 60, short wheel base, frame rail is heavy, if you order a kit you can get light options.

This.. run smaller tanks and add super suck singles.. not for me tho.. smaller tanks maybe but I draw the line at super singles.. run 3 batteries instead of 4 like the mega’s do.. wouldn’t recommend that either.. but on a serious note a w9 is not the Truck to be looking at if concerned about weight

not interested in super singles either had them once spent more money on getting unstuck than any savings they give or smaller tanks i can always just buy less fuel of nessersary on certain loads if this is impossible in a w9 than what about a 389 or 579?
