Just asking a dumb question here, do these trucks with all their software/electronics update on their own for things like NavSat etc??? couple times a month would be about right.
-
Our fleet does not have any navigation hardware but it is "connected" to the point the clock is kept precise and they can do certain troubleshooting and parameter changes from a remote desk and an admin user.
KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
Yeah these new trucks all have that on board diagnostic up link, I would bet that is updating info every so often?
-
Could be but I've never noticed any changes except some minor menu changes after a flash update done at the terminal with a laptop hookup. If the company pulls down data every so often, I couldn't say.
-
I do like the nice easy to read display on these trucks.

Tug Toy, MACK E-6, stwik and 1 other person Thank this. -
Never seen that message but we have APUs, no idle policy, and run heavy.
-
They need an Elog provision for time lost on this DEF/DPF crap. Maybe like 45 mins allowed under personal conveyance de-rate exception.Tug Toy, stwik, tinytim and 1 other person Thank this.
-
Don't think that has anything to do with it. Apparently it's the def pump. At least I made it home.
-
What is the fuel mileage on these new cascadias? Any reviews?
