My.02....the Ipd liners are better than Cat....I too use a Cat headgasket# 359-0908....The rest of the parts seem excellent to me....and I have used them in High Hp applications without failure....how many High performance SBC, BBC, sbf use stock pistons...very few....I have used their injectors as well and I am very pleased.... while they are not a set of Farcall's ....they are better than what I have tried to date from various vendors and rebuild shops stateside.....Yes I am an IPD dealer ....but I became one after seeing their Cat Parts hold up very well in the 1000 to 1200 rwhp range. I have a bed engine I'd like to see do 900 to the ground reliably is it really possible with old stuff and can I get some help with sourcing Info fo an advert engine with good power

I asked about IPD kits for my 3406 on another website and a lot of the members there actually recommended them over Cat Classic Parts.
