Well, I hope you do get it resolved, but it did happen. I'd focus more on getting it resolved than trying to make it like it never happened.
One thing you can do, to get money rolling in until it's resolved, is get a local construction job. That way you can afford the lawyer, and also get a little experience putting your CDL to use.
And I'm with @Chinatown on the order of getting stuff taken care of. The CDL school is simply a loan, no different than credit card loan. Just pay it back when you can and move on with life.

If you must know, it was a bit of both. At the time of the court date, my home was a makeshift tent on the side of a creek where I had to learn off the fly how to fish just so I could eat. I failed miserably btw. So initially, yes it was my failure to appear. But like I said, In January I made legit efforts to not only clear this warrant, but others I had as well. I took care of all the others but this one could not be found. So the courts eventually made a mistake somewhere. But I do appreciate you taking the time to share your feelings and I can assure you there wont be anymore "next times". God Bless

How much time elapsed between the time you were fishing just to eat and you took out that 10K loan? And then we learn of "others". Call me done on this one.

My guess is he signed a note at the cdl school. The school doesn't care about credit history or work history.
    Seems like a Roadmaster deal.

Do you also need to know that my mother was the one who had to co-sign in order for me to get the loan? I'm not understanding why you're so hostile. Do you have issues with people who are trying to turn their lives around? Or would you prefer that I still be a non-productive member of society? Since you're done tho, plz refrain from responding. You're the type that will see a negative in anything I say anyway. I came for advice, not critics.

I can't help but to come across being mean if I am asked my opinion.

OK drop the turning your life around stuff, this industry doesn't care.

Cops just "can't" find a warrant, when you get back ground checks done, they seem to always pop up.

Get a lawyer. don't worry about driving or any crap like that, get it fixed before you actually lose the CDL. YOU have it now.

Pay your obligation, beg, borrow or work cutting lawns, but pay it. MAKE an effort to pay it, even if it is a partial payment, make an effort.

Get the lawyer to see if he/she can ask for a deferment until your legal issues are fixed.

By the way, I see this all the time, I do back ground checks and reject people because of things they "forgotten" or lied about. NOT accusing you of lying but you could have done a lot more to fix it.

NO, you came in here looking for someone to blow sunshine up your butt. I will not do so. I feel that you are not being fully truthful. dang it you don't just get a pass for 3 years on a warrant like this, just about every police agency in this country have officers dedicated to finding people with active warrents. Then you have us to believe you got a CDL with an active warrant. @Ridgeline might not say it, but I will. Your lying through your fricking teeth!

    You are working too hard.

A Active Warrant, an attachment of bodily arrest means you are WANTED and WILL be arrested.

So. Stop tying to ... behave as if the warrant does not exist. Turn yourself in on that warrant and get it fixed before anything. Essentially you are a Fugitive from Justice.

Do down to the police station and ask them straight, Do they have a Warrant for your arrest at any level of our Government from City all the way through to Interpol etc. If there is a active warrant you will be taken into custody and brought before a judge. At that time you can stake a step towards leaving this warrant behind.

What you are not stating is why you are wanted. Did you kill the President or knock off the fountain a the town park or something in between? you will find that the Law will deal with you better when you turn yourself in pronto rather than make them run all over to catch you.

Makes me want to examine NC on a good map and see if a town of Mayberry still exists there.

Oh it does. I was involved with a situation late one evening in Cleveland NC. When the cop pulled in the lot I could have sworn barney was driving that car. Cleveland BTW is not all that far from Pilot mtn, and Andy Griffiths birthplace.
