Setting next to OFF is warmest....farther away from the off it gets colder.
You can adjust the temp sensor location if your range isn't useable...
. -
How would you go about adjusting the temp sensor location. I have a funny feeling my range selector is not working. Too much free play in it
-
Mine did that unit I realized I'm I was missing a little door for the freezer compartment. After I got new door it works ok.
-
So how would I go about adjusting the temp sensor location. The temperature knob (1-5) does not appear to be working so I’m hoping to get some sort of control over the temp so it stops freezing my drinks lol
-
Look up in the void behind the switch.... you'll see the thin copper line tied to the switch....move/bend it closer to the freezer compartment to get it warmer in range, farther away to get it colder..
.Nascar_Perry Thanks this. -
Thank you for that information. I’ll give it a try.KB3MMX Thanks this.

That is what I am trying to do but can't get the old one out took the 2 screws from bottom of door and the one on side and fridge still holding solid
-
It's on 2 tracks on the bottom, you have to pull it straight out. Grab from the bottom and wiggle side to side as you pull. Might take a bit if you've never had it out, but it won't lift up as the tracks are dovetailed.
