If there is lasagna that early, I'd go for the Lasagna. Better to get it now than at 5pm, might be the same stuff.

    Dave,

Do you have an agent that specializes in italian food at truck stops? Linehaul shows X amount + fuel surchage and then a route that goes by Petro's with lasagna? You know the Landstar saying...67% of 98% of lasagna is still better than none.

I view a meal as fuel for me.

If I need to do some big stuff tonight and potentially keep going with NO breakfast in the morning I would not view a Petro as a adequate source with the correct sequence of foods and fluids I would require for a night of love or war. Depending on how things go well or badly.

Ive been known to seek out some road side street food grillers who knows how to put together a bucket and put the rest into a box for he week if need be. Get me a plate of this, some of that, a bit of that bread, something to wash it down with and shop towels for a napkin, Wait about a hour.

I'll be 14 years old back on the horse farm ready to fill a barn with hay for the next 14 hours.

You would be amazed how well that kind of food done just so makes a broken old me turn into someone who is ready and sharp for battle.

I just go to any grocery store and head for the fruits and veggies, that along with some bags of almonds and walnuts without any salt will do me good, and then the drink...plain ol water does me fine. Staying away from the salts and sugars have done wonders.

    It’s all your fault.
You should know to scarf down lasagne when it’s available.
How else are you going to spoil yourself?
Same goes for the pudding at the buffet.
