I don’t think he drives for IRT since his previous post mentioned him pulling an over size load. You can and do route yourself at IRT. They don’t even send out route solutions to the Qualcomm anymore.

 

If anyone is curious, you can take a truck on 163 to see Monument Valley. I did it today. Sure was nice scenery.

 

I delivered my Fort Stockton a day early yesterday morning and came home for some time off. I will leave out the morning after the 4th and head down to McAllen.

 

I brought a load from McAllen to Riverside over the weekend. Just for some different scenery, I ran I-8 along the border, spent the night at the Yuma Loves, then cut up to I-10 on CA 86 today. Not a bad route. I got a clean random Level 1 inspection at the California scale on I-8 this morning. Dead heading to Prosser from here.

 

Bigcat1124 you still around? I haven’t been on here in several months. I’m still with IRT. I’ve been taking a break from OTR for the past month or so. Had some things I needed to get done around the house, so I’ve been hauling to the same customer for awhile where I’m home more often. December will be my 2 year anniversary with Indian River. I’m still happy here. Hope everyone is doing ok. Stay safe.
