HELP with RF Static

Its one another driver had put in some cheap aftermarket i dont use it so i just shut it off and all is well!

 

You've got the same antenna as me. And it sounds like the answer may be in tuning the antenna. The Wilson has a lil set-screw (actually, two of em) just above the center coil to loosen with Allen wrench and then shorten or lengthen the antenna by sliding it up or down and then locking the screws back down on it. I love my SW 2000s; mine are both the extended length model that is so hard to find anymore, and tuned right, they get me a perfect 1.1 to 1 on the channels in the middle of the band, and about 1.3 to 1 at the far ends, chan 1 and chan 40.

 

I know this is a old post I have posted on before I have notice with engine off in the on position I have poping sound I have checked every ground outside truck also does not pop in accessory position

 

Step on the brake. See if it makes any difference. Turn on the running lights. See if there's any effect. Ya never know. It could be that the truck's light wiring is providing an "antenna" for the noise. Should it be the lights, then you'd have to remove each bulb to see which one is "transmitting" the noise. Tedious, I know. Far fetched? Well, it happened to me once. I took some wire mesh and put it inside the tail light lenses, grounding the mesh to the frame/body of the car with the screws that held the lens! It WORKED. Ya never know!

 

Might be if you have led or hid lights anywhere..A fridge will make noise..Ya already mentioned inverter and sirius..
Is your coax and power supply wire near each other??
