I think the OP is confused and it's 20 cents per driver for 20,000 miles a month or 1000 a Week per driver.
BTW still too cheap IMO.
20c/mile new driver. Worth it?

Since OP is Canadian have to ask do Canadian company’s pay by the Kilometer or by the mile? If so it might be possible to team drive 20K kilometers a week.
Noobtr Thanks this. -

I started at $0.35 per mile three years ago at my company. Hourly pay with local training for 6-8 weeks, then start on the highway and be out max 5-6 days at a time.
You'd think with the so-called "driver shortage", companies would be more willing to not screw drivers from the start of their new career.BigHossVolvo, Noobtr and Phantom Trucker Thank this. -

Canadian companies pay by the mile as well. It is rare to see paid by km.
BigHossVolvo and magoo68 Thank this. -
if you drove those 8000 miles per month you would then have
$ 1600.00 for the month or $ 400.00 per week .
also your 70 hours per week will affect the miles you do , you have stops to load ,, stops to unload , -

I was able to find another company willing to hire me but they need me to incorporate, which kinda doesnt make sense to me.
However they willing to pay 28c/mile for training and then .55/mile after. I ll have my own truck with dedicated runs. They seems genuine but incorp.thing seems little sketchy -
You don't need to incorporate
Pass on those deals
