Correct if I’m wrong, but didn’t these cab have the front part tilt upwards ?

 

I believe Victory Express used to have some of those. They’re definitely unusual.

 

I dig it!!! Sad part is its probably more reliable than the plastic junk we have on the roads today!!

I will agree 110% with the post as it pertains to the fiberglass/plastic mass produced garbage trucks of today. I read all the issues about drivers are having with the technology/electronics in the trucks in the CB section of the forum. Grounding issues on plastic does not work real well.

Bottom one is an ex wiener mobil. Maybe they should have stayed with cabovers

 

I saw an old kw cabover pass me on the interstate other day. It was just too cool to still see those trucks still being used. I remember my grandfather who drove for 42 yrs had an old cabover..I remember going to his house as a child and climbing up in that thing. It was probably one of the best memories I have to date of my grandfather and spending time with him working on it and cleaning it...and honestly probably gave me the bug to start driving.
