Indian River 2018

I’m not sure if we have anything dedicated, but we definitely have a lot of freight thru that area. Have a terminal in Clovis, NM.

 

I’m currently on a Florida to California run. If you like coast to coast, we have it. Have made one a few times already here.

 

Looks like I’m on a dedicated Florida to California run. Lol. I’m back out here and I’m loading back to Florida. I do like the long runs. Had some truck issues on this past trip, but to was handled quickly.

 

I’m pretty much 95% juice or concentrate. Only hauled milk twice. Have hauled yeast a few times too.

 

Haven’t posted in a while. Ran into a major problem here. In my time at IRT, I had 3 physicals. I’m on a cpap. I’m see my sleep doctor every year like I’m supposed to. The dot doctor they use in Florida insisted that I need a new sleep study and new cpap machine. Which would be out of pocket to me. I told my sleep doctor this and told me that isn’t true. He printed off my reports and my usage report to show I’m using it like I should. They have given me a 3 month card each time.

Well this last time, I went in with all of the documents and suggested to call my sleep specialist if needed. Didn’t matter. Told me if I didn’t get a new study and cpap, he wouldn’t pass me. Just crazy!

So, last week, I talked to the people in the office about this situation hoping they would send me elsewhere. They wouldn’t. So, I completed my trip and told them I hated to leave, but this is crazy and I’m moving on. Hoping they would change their mind. They didn’t. So I’m no longer with IRT.

Over all, I really liked it there. Don’t have a bad thing to say about them, besides this mess. It’s not even a regulation and I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to do. It’s all about $$$. It’s a shame. Tuesday i went to another dot clinic and passed with a one year card with no issues.
