Are you getting low voltage anywhere else in the cab under acceleration? CB is powered from fuse/breaker F5-B. Check your voltage there. The CB ground is at the cab stud in behind the dash on the right side. It would be in behind the breaker panel. Check for any corrosion. Also, check the basics, try a different radio and mic if you can.
down south Thanks this. -
You are picking up static from the electrical harness of the valve train. Typical IH

I changed everything in battery box cleaned every ground outside the truck. I ran Cb to batter then changed ground to chassis the engine does not have to be running to hear popping static or noise what ever you want to call it. Just ignition switch in run mode doesn’t do it in acc mode heavy D has helped. Me a lot over the years gonna have find him buy him lunch anyway all help is appreciated
Heavyd Thanks this. -
Also wouldn’t you have to run engine to pick up engine ststidc

Do you have fridge or power inverter, or any other electrical accessories running?

A few things.
First the voltage dropping means an alternator issue, you need to check it by checking the voltage at the batteries while accelerating, it you see a drop there, then you will need to look at the power cable to the alternator and the ground at it. May have to replace it.
Second is static. It is coming into the radio only two ways, the first is through the power line and the other through the antenna. When you put a filter on the power (and not all filters work by the way) and still there then it could be the antenna and a good indication of a ground problem with the antenna and coax. IT is a bit different than a power ground and there is something that is called a Common Mode Current issue that happens a lot with trucks.
See this link for a good explanation - Common mode current
