Talk bout a day. I get to the place I'm headed and they are down. No big deal I'm tired any way. Several hours later a shiney blonde is knocking on my door. (Bear in mind it's dark now).

My first thought is she is too good looking to be a real lizard so the #### p.o. p.o. gots nothing better to do than mess with us? Keep in mind they is lots and lots of trucks of all kinds come in and out. She is wearing daisy dukes and a low cut top. So I immediately run her off sorta politely and mouth something bout ain' folks got better #### to do than cause trouble.

How the hell was I suppose to know she is a new hire and come to wake me up to unload?

No hard hat, no hair net, shorts mind you and the only think I have ever seen round there with tits.

I had a moment last night...

Back into a tight parking spot next to a 389. I back up far enough so my front bumper is passed his stack. Yknow, I’m on the end of the row so make it easier for him to enter / exit on his driver side. Won’t have to worry about the door swing, whatever.

Well I go in. Eat. Clean up. Come back out. Same truck in my mind, but he backed it up into the spot even further. I get it. Some guys don’t want their hoods sticking out, right? Well when I was doing my post trip I swore this 389 had a DEF tank. I look over and I see the fella filling out a paper log. Huh. I look over, no DEF tank. WTF. Then it dawns on me... I parked next to a hopper bottom. This guy has a tanker. WTF... it’s a different truck stupid.

Same exact everything. Color. Square bumper. Sleeper configuration...... I was fooled

Got a little air leak on the service side air line going to a brake chamber. Not a truck in sight and 6 guys (employees) in the office. “1/2 hour till we can get ya in.”

Had 2 dealings with the garage down on I-75, think it is exit 141 in Tennessee. 11 O'clock almost and my late 70's father in law brings me an alternator! All because the shop clowns are drooling over a vehicle one of them just got.

2nd time lost a turbo in the middle of the night. Same garage with absolutely no help from the garage clowns! Got the truck back to my father in laws best freind outside Knoxville who owns a shop, got a U-haul pickup and went home, few days later it was ready. Hate being broke down and at someone else's mercy.

Yea, probly should of found a place to get the part and tried it myself? Although I don’t carry anything bigger than a 3/4 socket in the truck? Probly could of bought a set of wrenches and still be ahead?

Oh well I guess I shouldn’t be so pessimistic?

Pury sure you have to go that way. Don't think they will let you across the bridge at that size and weight. I think max weight on the bridge is 14500. There's some mines up there so must be a decent way to get there
