I speed thru truckstops. They are very scary places. You would not believe me if I told you some of the things I have seen at truckstops. I get the hell out as fast as I can.

"I have to park sideways across the truck stop entrance because all of the fuel pumps CAT scale are full."

Most newbies never back into any parking spot. There trainer with 3 months experience showed them.

Oregon driving is an acquired taste. They have a number of unwritten rules up there, and if you don't abide by them they will let you know. One of the most important unwritten rules is that driving on the shoulder is legal, and if you're on a grade going under 35 you had better be over there with your 4 ways on or they will pass you on the shoulder. I generally stay in the slow lane until I see somebody dead heading behind me and then I move over, but otherwise I stay in the regular lanes.

One of the other rules is that if you are passing a truck in the hammer lane near the crest of a grade, the guy you just passed will do everything humanly possible to not let you back over into the slow lane once you reach the top and start down the other side. It seems to be a game they play up there.

It's not just the West. It's all over the East coast too. Lot's of violence is on the brink of occurring.

Singling out Eastern Europeans is a sweeping generalization. I see plenty of people doing it from all walks of life.

That's great except dude ran out of lane. And was way out of control.

I've been driving those hills for 13 years. Two closest calls were this stooge and an Interstate driver on the south bound side about a year ago.

That guy will crash. Give it time. Driving is habits.
You're not a safe driver and just suddenly decide to pull some BS like that.
Just hope he doesn't take anybody down with him when it happens.

I drive in Oregon. I asked on here about you guys driving in the breakdown lane on I-5 because it looks illegal. Nobody thought it’s a safe idea. I’m not doing that and I don’t care who gets mad. My CB isn’t even in my truck so...complain away!

Cops will look the other way but , call your insurance and ask who's paying when someone takes your mirror off or worse when they pass you while your driving up that breakdown lane.
