Driving new model freight liner day cabs I noticed I could shift gears without double clutching (no I’m not talking about floating gears) I pressed the clutch down once and was able to get into the next gear. I didn’t have to double clutch. What’s the deal??
Not having to double clutch.

What’s the deal? Your employer should send you for drug screening.
Have someone get you on video shifting through all the gears single clutching and people will believe you. Other than that it’s just hearsay. We of course would like to see you shift through all gears that way without any gear jamming noise and more importantly, we would like to hear you down shift this magical trans as well without rev matching. Report back with video asapBean Jr. Thanks this. -
You got lucky just remember that luck is not all good,

Thank you I appreciate it but , I can't deal with this tranny.
That is the week I went into a Interstate Distributors company truck. -
I’ve done that plenty to help into gear after shifting out of previous gear usually on steep grade top of ramp from a dead stop but never just a straight shift.
