Actually I think most of those are "had a heart attack in his bathtub"....

Or "found dead in an apparent suicide. He apparently shot himself four times, twice in the back"......

I had an early delivery at Kroger one time, in Columbus. The security guard told me there's no place to park and to return within an hour of the appointment. Told me to leave the property.
Only place I could find was a rest area off ramp and I was really sleepy. Parked off the pavement of the ramp, and on the gravel with a line of other trucks. Some trooper woke me up banging on the door. I explained what happened and he said, "That's not my problem." Then he gave me a spiel of how his uncle is a trucker and on and on as he laughed and was very friendly. Then he gave me a ticket for illegal parking. Real nice guy.

Yeah, but even back then I'd drive 58 using the cruise control on the truck, and I never got bothered.

Most guys I met back then who got a ticket going "56 in a 55", were the type who couldn't keep their mouth shut long enough to avoid a ticket.

Just pulled over for going 61 in a 55 on the Ohio pike...written speed warning after full driver inspection and no issues.

She was nice and all but just seemed ridiculous when yet another one (NY last time) says they chose me because they like my truck...:/

What issues do you have in Mississippi? It has one of the highest passage rates for DOT inspections and they don’t bother big trucks too much except for certain spots.
