I hate it when you click a link and the first thing that pops up is a window to register. That’s an automatic back button and never to return.

I have absolutely no problem getting mine serviced.
Problematic? I would disagree as I haven't had any significant problems with any of three iv had on different trucks.tuna426 Thanks this. -
Apu shops not much different than taking your truck to a steelership.
Some good some bad. -
Thank You, it makes a difference to hear different opinions from people who own an APU as far as maintenance is concerndriverdriver Thanks this.

I would add go with TK they are far superior in cooling.
I'm sitting in 105 degrees facing into the sun as I was yesterday no problem keeping it more than livable in here.
I do put up my silver window screens before I pull the windshield curtain though.
Once it's starts to drop to around 90 it stars getting pretty chilly in here lol.
I had a carrier apu about 11yrs ago they've never really been as good as TK.
I've also read more complaints about carriers too. -
I'm not a fan of the TK, had one on this truck(2012 Coronado) when I bought it, had lots of problems, 6 months later pulled it and put a carrier on. Carrier on my old classic had over 25k on hours. Just depends on how well the unit is maintained. Which ever brand you go with carry extra belts and an air filter.
driverdriver Thanks this. -
I have an evolution currently 1yr so far no problems.
Previously on another truck had a old Tk unit that wasn't maintained properly , I wound up putting a little over 1100 in to it get up to snuff.
Your right maintenance is key.tuna426 Thanks this. -

I had my 120 gallon tank moved about a foot forward , it seems to be standard practice on Cascadias. There was no issue with moving weight forward, maybe 100 lbs or so full tanks but no big deal. It is more difficult to fill though, and some of the big nozzles don't fit in properly but having the apu more than makes up for the slight nuisance.
