In my mis-spent youth, I lost my butt at a pool table to a one armed man in a wheel chair.

Looks like I may need to get an attorney involved to get my title back.
I finally got the invoice for what I’m paying for.
It’s not what we discussed or what I approved.
Turns out I ended up with an engine swap. They sent a motor to Lansing freightliner to be overhauled. There was a 90 day workmanship warranty.
They charged me for a new hood (didn’t ask for it) new headlight assemblies, (unnecessary)
And a few other things I was unaware of.
The original plan was to do an inframe on the original engine. Cost about 10k.
Then they told me they’d rather give me a “new motor “ so I’d be protected by a warranty.
It’s not much, but I paid for LegalShield, so I’m calling on Monday to see about resolving this.T.Rucker, popcorn169, Cybercat and 2 others Thank this. -
They flat out lied to you. Did you have repairs you talked about in writing that was signed? I was wondering why it took 3 whole months to do a 2 week job at most. Get your lawyer ASAP for they won't be around much longer by the looks of it. No one is getting miles and there's less drivers than before.
Feedman Thanks this. -
Wow. What a cluster.
Load to Michigan didn’t unload at receiver until the next day at 1030pm. I had to drive 50 miles back to drop it.
Pickup at a warehouse in Niles...scheduled for 6/29 won’t load me until it’s rescheduled for the day it’s to be loaded. I raced to get here before they closed.
Water load that was supposed to be preloaded had to be live loaded, wasting 3 hours.
I can’t wait to get on the horn with a lawyer. -
Cybercat Thanks this.

My lawyer is writing a letter demanding the return of my title. Hopefully it does the trick and I can move on.

I can’t afford to run for free. These loads only pay for fuel and kill daylight waiting for bs to clear to get reloaded. 216 miles per day. That’s my average. For the first time I can remember, I have a negative settlement while I’m on the road willing to run. If I’m not loaded within the hour, I’m parking it and spending time at home.
I’ll give them written notice I’m planning to leave. It’s too late to prevent the ship from sinking, but maybe we can save the silver.popcorn169, 88 Alpha and T.Rucker Thank this. -
If they have your title then you have to give them the truck back. I am betting that they did to you what they did to all of us. They put it into the loan for collateral. It was same time when they took loan out that you took your truck in to be worked on.

FWIW I searched them on FMCSA just to see, only thing I found is that they just changed insurance companies 06/28. That could be a sign. Maybe not. I would say its time for a change, Truck or not. Just remember there are a lot more trucks out there, and countless better companies. Best of luck.

Hey Wicked, been following your journey for a couple years now. Sorry to hear what’s happening...thoughts and prayers are with you man.
Hope it works out for you and you keep the truck but either way, seems like this company is a dying duck...best of luck to youWickedfire77 Thanks this.
