Yup! The biggest difference is the amount of space you leave in traffic and the speed at which you climb/descend hills.

Is the poster trying to figure out the difference between moving different weights, or between moving van loads versus overdimensional machinery moves on a lowboy?

You don't always drive slow with heavy haul. 160,000 of logs drives fine at 68mph.

5 axle gross weight in Canada: 88,000 lbs
6 axle gross weight in Canada: 100,600 lbs
8 axle gross weight in Canada: 137,800 lbs

    "Heavy haul" starts at 150,000+

More weight just takes longer to get up to speed and longer to slow down.

This is why you see on Highway to Hell in Canada. Trucks in the ditch all the time, and Davis Towing having to bail them out. 100,000 pound loads in the U.S are considered super heavy haul. The roads in Canada suck, due to the weights they constantly pull. B trains, and heavy haul loads.

Is that show still on? I forgot all about that. That Al Quiring guy or whatever his name is, was awesome!

Not at all correct. Its because we import drivers that buy their licenses and send them straight to work.

    The difference is “sense”
You either have it or you don’t. As for something that’s called common. It’s very uncommon....
