oh yea Knight was a Swift employee years ago......

 

Knight was the worse company I have ever worked for.

Always looking for MT's, payroll was consistently messed up, no miles, no layover pay, I was lied to about how much I would be paid to unload a Michelin tire load... it goes on an on an on an on an on.....

 

I just got an offer from the refrigerated side of Knight can anyone tell me what is the difference between van and refrigerated? What (if any) are the advantages, are the runs longer? More or less home time?[/font]

 

My understanding is that the owners and/or founders of Swift, CR England, Knight, and Pride are all related in one way or another by Blood or marriage.

However, they are separate but equal(read bad) companies.

WOW, my friend you need to lay off the special stuff you are smoking if you believe any of what you typed. I worked for them and they are the biggest disaster in the industry right up there with Swift, CR England, etc....

 

Yep the story in your post is true and the day he did this he helped add another destructive force to this industry

 

The diference betwen schennider and knight is 10 gallons of red paints and the diference between swifts also 10 gallons of red paints

 

Don't forget the 800# is different. Though it might go to the same place

 

Don't lie, at least Swift and Schenider have empties!

 

Did you go through Squires driver program? I'm currently researching trucking companies for the past four months, I even attended the trucking expo in Louiville KY. Knight, Prime, Swift, Celedon, Schnider and Landstar are among my considerations. Can you add any more advice for a retiring young man who has dreamed of driving OVTR.
