RUN,RUN,RUN dont walk, run from this company. Your profile says your a student which means you can be expected to do a minimum of 250-300 hrs of training. HOWEVER what they wont tell you is no matter what you signed up for during the application process you may not get that run and also that 250-300 can easily last up to 400 or 500 hours and even then they may not have a run for you or even a truck they have to fire someone in order to get you a truck. You will be given the option to stay onboard that truck for low pay and be expected to run a team without the pay, or you can go home till something comes up but after 30 days you are automatically placed in the status of voluntary quit.

I'm still unemployed. I've put in applications to every trucking company I could find that would take a 21 year old with no experience (aside from the 2 months on the road with my Werner trainer).
I don't know what to do... -

They even got me home for thanksgiving eventho I got my truck 2 days before 450 miles from where i lived. -
I'm going to contact them on Monday to find out if I can get rehired. I'll have to go through everything again but I don't care it's worth it at this point. I still have no job and I want to get back out on the road really bad. If they can't get me a truck when I complete my hours then I'll stay on it until they can. If I had known this was going to happen months ago, I would have stayed on the truck with my first trainer back then.

I just spoke to my previous trainer on the phone. I've been in touch with him ever since I left the truck a few months ago. He gave me some of his information to give to the recruiter when I talk to them and also if it'd be possible, we'd both like for me to get back on his truck for the training period again. The odds of that are unlikely. His current student should finish training within 2-3 weeks, and if he actually gets off the truck at that time, there is a possibility his dispatcher could get him to the Allentown, PA terminal to get off the truck and let me on. Again, highly unlikely but still a possibility.
It's Sunday but their website says their recruiting dept is open from 9am to sometime in the afternoon on Sundays, so I'm going to try and give them a call in about 15 minutes here to see what I can find out. -
Do let us know.

They denied my application for rehire. I have no idea why. They wouldn't tell me and I wasn't allowed to ask.
To hell with this industry. I'm 21 years old and I've got plenty of time to find something better than this.
Next on the list is probably law enforcement.
Good luck truck drivers.
