Cat diesel power!!!!

Their rep told me that they had a couple of units on Acerts in the US at the moment for testing. The driver I spoke to loved it, said the truck was a dog before it was fitted and is now awesome, he didn't really know about fuel economy as the box screws up the calculation in the ECM and he doesn't work it out manually, as for reliability he had only had the box on for 80000km (the truck had done 500000km) towing a B-double and hadn't had any problem yet but its early days.

 

does anyone on here have a Manifold for there cat?

 

What manifold and engine...you may want to be more specific.

 

I hear that Bully Dog has a program that advances the timing... someone here has it and says they really like it... can't say who it is...

i`m starting to understand why so many guys say there`s no money in trucking anymore...lol

 

people have always said that
there will always be money in trucking. like any business,not all will be sucessful.

 

I have never met a business man anywhere who is making money trucker or otherwise, but I see a lot of owner/opps who every monday have something new and shinny

 

well said. my father was in trucking 45 yrs and never made money. owns alot of real estate for a poor man
