Too bad I'm down near a quarter. Going to put in 25 g's tomorrow to get me to the J across the border to fill. Normally I'd fill in the US before crossing, because $3.35 USD a gallon a cheaper than $5.09 CAD. But I don't have much choice here, lol.

If it were pine I might be concerned, but oak is a hardwood. Getting rained on in transit is a minimal risk.

They’ll probably store the stuff outside anyway.

Probably a better (and safer) spend than an overweight ticket; It's what I'd do myself.

Yeah, it's rough cut stuff, probably why they don't care. Customer looks like they store it outside. It was made at an Amish mill, where the logs are sitting in the dirt.

Just really weird not tarping it. Hardwood for us is *always* tarp, no matter what.

If I were paying for fuel, I'd pump em full and run with it, but I'd rather not get the ticket to save the company some money.

Mackey is right. I buy my wood from the Amish here and it's not stored indoors, but I prefer to get mine 'cut to order' personally. Nice stuff. (<<sure ya can't stop by?!?! ;) )
