Have an attorney read your lease contract, hand over copies of all your settlements to prove you complied, he can get judgement against the company and put a lien on your truck.......chances are they will release the tittle before you get there.....

    Feedman and Wickedfire77 Thank this.

I still have the attorney sending the letter demanding the title. That’s the first step. I just have to scramble to get cash to pay home bills.

    Feedman Thanks this.

After a short conference call with operations, I suddenly have access to the load board/ routes. I’m still waiting for the draft from the lawyer. But I’m getting my “payments” suspended for the time being and choosing to go to Atlanta, then Virginia, then back to Michigan. I’m boycotting any loads less than 400 miles.
I realize I need to get out, but I need income, now. And I’m not keen on the idea of going through orientation at a mega that could/will hire me immediately because of the recent health issues I may need a work release form for a mega doctor physical.
Bottom line, I can better prepare myself for my exit, and this was available immediately.
And I can keep my truck without playing a waiting game. And make money while I do it.

Anyone have one of those “adopted “ moms? Like they were your friends mom but you felt the love when you were over from childhood to adult? I had one of those. Their family is like my own.
Well, all things come to an end. She passed in her sleep on the front porch the other night at age 72.
I felt sad and at the same time, guilty. We kept up on Facebook, but I hadn’t physically seen her in a decade. That hindsight of I’ll visit next time, then the window closes on next time, and we are out of time.
It put things in perspective for me.
Live daily the best I can, because tomorrow isn’t a guarantee. Don’t sweat the small things.

I called my mother because I still can. I do so weekly. We try to visit every Christmas. She doesn’t live In a “go to “ destination anymore. Menominee, Mi isn’t exactly on the way to anywhere...except The Dells.

My loads have lined up and been relatively free of difficulty. I think I can feel the stress breaking away.

Relax, take a deep breath and work through it.....you’ve done so much to get this far, don’t let impatience get the best of you.

    Sorry about your loss!

I have a problem. I stopped in fair play, sc to weigh my truck and grab a bite. Now my truck won’t start. Keeps clicking instead of turning over. Due to my low miles I have next to nothing set aside for maintenance. I’m at a Loves. I’ll see what I can pull off.
I’m thinking solenoid or wiring. It could be that the batteries finally decided to go.
    I’ll keep ya posted

I got it started. Now I don’t want to shut it off.
Getting a trailer tire replaced at a TA.
    That abbreviated my day.
On the other hand, I had a retention person call me today asking what can they do to turn this around, so I gave them a wish list.

    T.Rucker and Feedman Thank this.
