some late 50's and early 60's Chrysler products had left-hand thread lug nuts too on the left side. this helped me remember to check for the L when I started to drive a truck with "those new-fangled" budd wheels after 8 years with nothing but Daytons.
the best part was not having to change tires on the side of the road any more because the boss didn't want to buy a gear-wrench for each truck. he said limping to a tire shop and paying waiting time was cheaper.

 

My buddy just bailed on picking me up from the J here in Edinburg. Guess I'll go shower and figure out dinner.

Im picking up in the morning and rolling home for the weekend. If they dont like it, I'll let them know where they can get their truck

Or I could roll upto road to the motel I said at a couple weeks ago and see if the little prego girl that hit me up for $65 for some "fun" at 7:30am is around lol

Screwed up day, got a call tuesday bout some loads to move today. Ok ordered permits then one hour later they canceled the loads. 9:45 this morning phone rings, loads are a go ! So I rush to get there. Get loaded and see the load is longer than they said so amend permit. Need pilot car. Order pilot car and at the last moment pilot car calls and said wipers quit working an hour ago...... so why did you wait to call me so late? Fired him and got another. Day is shot now. So here I sit at the Duke fuel stop to roll in the morning. Should off stayed home !!

I was in our day cab Monday before last and got stuck down here for the night (after dropping off the terrible load of onions). I go to check out the next morning and this cute girl is in the lobby and is chatting me up. I make it half way across the parking lot towards and I here "excuse me", I turn around and see her walking towards me. I immediately think I left something on the counter. Nope. She asks where Im headed and if I got time to "have some fun" cause she needs to pay her motel bill for the that next night. I kinda laugh and tell her shes cute but no thx. At that point I realize she's knocked up and I say "you're pregnant and out here trying to f### for money? C'mon" She then proceeds to tell me pregnant p#ssy is the best p#ssy and I should come find out. I inform her Im aware as I have a 4mo old son and a wife. At that point I told her to have a good day I gotta roll.
