Where is everyone #5

He is mad about the flies. This place is nasty. Can't get in or out that you don't acquire a couple.

 

I've heard horror stories about this place. Running drivers out of hours, then booting them off the property. I've also heard it takes forever to load.

I've been here since 1:15pm and it's 3:47pm now and I have a whole layer on already (including 2 bundles from another location down the street). I don't want to jinx anything, but I'm remaining optimistic.

 

No mistaking an aggravated heeler when they lay them ears back.

Dang flies.

Speaking of which, I backed into this spot around 6 this morning. Woke up around noon something stinkin to high heaven (not me).

Apparently some jerk cleaned out their hopper right in the parking spot next to me. Some kind of meal. Smells real good in the hot sun. Flies all over it.

 

If everytime I came to the northeast I got to enjoy those two lane roads up in the NY/CT/Mass corner... I wouldn’t mind coming to the northeast so often.

That place up there behind the grocery. Carbon wire.

Second night at a service plaza. Wanted the TA but I just don’t have the clock. Ynow, it’s safer this way... I’ll just put on some deodorant and clean up like a piggy.

Gonna find some food, get sideways and ride. Me thinking Petro Angola by tomorrow afternoon.

Must've changed names since I been. There last. That's the place.
That corner is nice.
Used to be a truck stop right up the top of route 102 where the big y grocery is now.

 

I just put on those short ribs I got out the other day.

Seared them off in a skillet and put them in the slow cooker. Threw some onion and garlic in the pan then deglazed with a nice cab we had in the rack. Reduced it and spooned it over to top.

We'll see how it turns out in a few hours..... I've never cooked short ribs before.
