Looking at getting a day cab and running intermodal out of NJ. Any owner ops working with XPO or any other intermodal companies? What can I expect to bring home per month after expenses?

Intermodal meaning rail or port? I think it would be hard to say what expected earnings would be, many variables. Where you want to run, local or longer runs, time worked, going into NYC with traffic and tolls, etc.

I work for a company out of nj ports we pay co drivers between 1000-1250 a week to pull boxes and local deliveries. OO makes between double that or more, depends on the loads since we do rate sharing, approx 30/70 split. They run under our authority and insur and we have own chassis and yard. I haven't heard much things about XPO but they are a major player and I'm a father son business. PM me if u have any questions
